SORRY folks... due to budget cuts and other extenuating circumstances, we regret to announce the cancelation of 2011's PPS Film Festival. We hope to return in Spring, 2012!
HEY FILMMAKERS!
Send your recent media projects to the 10th Annual Portland Public School Film Festival. We will review all submissions. Accepted work will be screened at the Northwest Film Center's impressive Whitsell Auditorium on Saturday afternoon, May 22nd, from 1-3 PM, before a lively audience of filmmakers, teachers parents and friends.
Submission Criteria: * Send your media projects to Matt Gilley at West Sylvan Middle School, or Phillip Walker at Jackson Middle School. * Submitted media should be 10 minutes or less. * All media must have been created within the past year (or two), under the advisement of a PPS staff-person, while the filmmakers were enrolled in a PPS school. In other words, media created by PPS students. * Deadline: May 16th, 2010. * Format: DVD or Mini-DV Tape (contact us for questions). * Complete the application at ppsff.blogspot.com and include it with the submission. * Complete and include a Consent and Release Form, also found at pppsff.blogspot.com, for every person appearing in the film.
